the wording is exactly as the guy doing the video demo's explained (If you haven't watch several of the YouTube vids)...with power to only the eink screen then you get 16hrs (he alluded this was conservative, we'll see) and the 6hr number is for "everything on" (his wording) and I took that to mean with wifi or 3G running all the time...but their wifi has a sleep mode.

He also said the goal was a whole day working on one charge. He did say that they assumed a person would not be working using the device at full power all day long so the 6hr number was very conservative. It really would be difficult to give an accurate estimate for the full power use, even though we know the eink panel draws almost no current other than the keep alive part of the circuit.

Still, I agree because I dislike any ambiguity in specs...by this point they should know exactly and have proper and verified runtimes. And it's a gen1 device so I am willing to say, it's a wait and see how things are in November...still, the design and function are very interesting to me. I am also looking at that MSI device with a lot of interest because I really need a tablet/slate like device running Windows and two panels is very interesting indeed...I prefer the Edge design with one of each kind...but dueling PixelQi panels would likely not suck much at all.
