Colin Baker suffered from a number of quite dreadful scripts (his introductory story, "The Twin Dilemma", is particularly awful).

There's a company called "Big Finish" (www.bigfinish.com) who have the rights to produce Dr Who audio stories (both sold on CD and available as MP3 download), featuring the original Doctors. Colin Baker is a major participant in these, and many of these audio stories show what a great Doctor he could have been, given the opportunity.
