Hi there,
Personnally, I am waiting for a large screen ebook to read more comfortably books, manga and pdf documents (no business needs).
I do not care about annotations or touchscreen either.
Supported format is a non issue for me, just use calibre and change your source document in any format you like !
so in this current competitive market, I could get now:
an Irex 1000
but it looks too bulky for my taste, plus the battery does not seem really efficient
a kindle dx
my first choice as I am already very happy with my Kindle 2, but the DX screen seems quite fragile, and it seems to support PDF in a average way,
of course, should its price drop, I might still consider it !
Then you have those new babies coming ! Sometimes this year.
My question are when (I live in Europe) and how much (to get something aimed at US only, you pay quite a premium (shipping costs, additional costs to have it sent from a US address, no warranty and so on !)
Skiff looks promising (I like how it looks as well), so does QUE (although I would not care about all of its business application or even 3G).
So now, I will wait for those new readers to be sold and reviewed, and if in the meantime, amazon decide to decrease a lot its kindle price, I might not have the patience to wait for something else (and they already sell the DX internationally)...
