It's much easier to find specific text on the Kindle, though. Location 12345 is the precise same spot on every Kindle, regardless of font size.
You're right though; with epub, you evidently can specify a "page" (that in-fact may be a range of screens, right?) that refers to an
approximate location regardless of font size or reading device. This is certainly a handy feature.
I do wish Amazon had provided the option for both systems on the Kindle.
