So you don't want color, buttons or e-ink? What is it you're after?

I like the device, myself, though I'm not a huge e-ink fan myself. I've still got my ebookwise backlit lcd device which I thing is great - as long as no images are involved and I remember that you need to convert most books to go on it (thank you Calibre).

I do appreciate the combination, essentially, of a PDA here, as it would be with me everywhere I went, just like my ebook reader is now. I have a separate PDA, but usually leave it behind because of (a) poor battery life and (b)the fact that when the batteries die, all data is lost - and yes, it's an older one.

Was there any info on battery life for this with/without the pda?
