That is weird. First I've heard of this sort of thing happening. If you purchased the LRX books from Sony while the 505 was authrized they should work with it -- at least that's what I saw and thought others were reporting.

I just tried moving with Calibre an existing LRX file - "Manifold Time" by Stephen Baxter to my 505 ... let's see what happens...

Hmmm works fine (it did have to format etc as it opened) but transferred, opened and displays just fine.

Also just tried with another one "Perdido Street Station" which I downloaded from Sony but is still not available as an epub. I just used windows drag and drop and it too is working fine.
