As a under-5'4" female I haven't found it heavy or awkward. I like it a LOT better than my K2. Beautifully clear. Took it on a 3-wk trip along with my netbook and had both in a small backpack.

It works a lot better with the web, especially in landscape mode. And since I get a lot of informational PDFs (and electronics guides), it is also much better for those. The photo I used today is of the DX displaying the regular Engadget page, which is not bad but I usually use the mobile-unit optimized versions of site. When it's just text it's very useful for lookups when on the street. It's slow but seems faster than it used to be.
