but this IS the case on an iPhone or iPod touch right NOW! why would they remove that functionality on what one would imagine would be a device more featured than the phone and touch. You can do anything on the Iphone/Touch whilst listening to music, browse the web, read and send Email, open and edit documnets etc etc

Most of the reasons in this thread that people have said for not getting an Apple product just arent true! and that is a FACT.
