Amazon to sell larger Kindle

"New York - Internet retailer Amazon.com is to sell the larger version of its Kindle ebook reader worldwide from January 19, the company said on Wednesday. The Kindle DX has a 24.6-centimetre screen and had previously only been sold in the US. The larger version of Kindle currently retails for 489 dollars on the Amazon.com website.
The smaller version has a 15-centimetre screen and costs 259 dollars.
According to the retailer, 390,000 books are available to read on the device.
Amazon operates websites in the US, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, China and Japan."
