There is something to be said for the sheer beauty of Apple devices. Of course, if they didn't work well, the aesthetics wouldn't mean diddly, but as a rule, they do. When you spend hours with a device, it helps if that device is a work of art in its own right. That's one of the reasons why even though they cost considerably more, the Apple products still have a faithful following after all these years.

That's the best thing to do. Apple has a solid track record with their innovative products. Then again, there's always the Newton and the Cube to consider.
