I've never known anyone to be "photosensible". They all pull goofy faces if they know you're taking their picture. What, that's not their goofy face? That's their normal face? Eww.
But this explains why when I went looking online for more of that purple wood it all seemed a lot less purple than his "fresh" works, as nice as they are at the moment.
