Catch is that it is Mac-only, and VERY rough around the edges currently. I literally threw it together over a period of a day just to prove to myself that it could be done. I've shared the details with Kovid so he should be able to integrate it into Calibre in the future (he'd have to speak towards what such a schedule would look like).
And my tool works on a similar concept to Calibre's recipes, so it won't just work on any RSS feed at the moment, and my recipes are built using Obj-C code (which currently needs to be built into the app), so it isn't exactly useful to the public at large just yet.
