I successfully downloaded and used Calibre 6.29 in November 2009 but have not had any joy with upgrades 6.30 or 6.32. Each time I have downloaded, the program starts OK but the menu icons don't work. They brighten when I hover the mouse but will not fetch news, open metadata box, send etc. I tried uninstalling the older version completely and re-installing the new version, but still the same result.
If I click on the revolving jobs icon, I can see a job in progress once, but if I close it, it won't open on subsequent clicks.
When I attach my Sony Pocket edition it shows an icon but shows it as PRS505. I dont think that is a problem in itself but just odd.
When clicking on the reader icon I see all my books and can highlight them and have fetched news this morning but the icons freeze most of the time.
