Have you checked out
Calibre for doing format conversions? That way you could convert the format to one you could use on a different Reader. Calibre has its own
forum on MR and Kovid (Creator of Calibre) participates.
Just ask if you want to know something and a friendly forum member will answer or point you in the right direction.
