I'm going to email Sony. I don't expect to hear from them, even if I threaten to return the unit back to Best Buy. However, the possibility of a $269 loss may not bother them one bit. Authorization comes from the reader store, so it makes sense all the readers that came after the lrx/epub switchover would not be able to read it, but regardless, you should be getting a message that pops up as soon as you drag the ebook over to ur device and drop it.
I hate how the epub looks, so now that I have my 300 (that doesn't support lrx) I strip it and convert it to lrf so it looks good. So far I'm a happy lady!
Let us know what happened with Sony (plz)
