Snowing ..... again !
This is the longest spell of snow lying I can remember, and certainly here. We have around 10-12 inches lying - and some of that is on ice.... the local road is slushy and our track to the road is only passable by 4*4 (which we no longer have).
It has been worse, in the past, because this event has been almost windless and previous years have been significantly more difficult due to drifting...
Luckily we have enough food for a week or so - stocked up with enough cans for DGma's soup), and no-one (yet) needs to get out. (It's a 2 mile walk to the nearest shop.)
Here's a toast to global warming .....
