Batch conversions for dummies.

I'm a techno-dummy. I'd love to be able to do some sort of batch conversions to epub. I have separate folders for each format (lit, doc, txt, pdf, etc.) so that part presents no problems for me. How do I go about setting up a batch conversion using a command line in Calibre? Is there someplace that explains it in simple enough laymen's language?

I.E. Step one: Push this button right here. Step two write this {.....} and push 'Enter' Step three: .......
BTW, the folders are named E:\lit, E:\text, E:\pdf, etc.

Please... Any suggestions?

Thanks
