Hello, my name is Kuno. I live in Denmark in the Copenhagen area. I am 48.

The ebook thing started with my girlfriend wanting one. I gave her a prs505 for christmas. I saw the advantage of being able to read books almost anywhere and saving some space on the shelve. So I ordered a bebook, which I have not received yet.

Before writing this introduction, I have browsed around on this great forum. I have got an idea of how things work, ebook wise. I have seen that a great guy from adobe has given good advice and being truly helpful. Unfortunately, I have also seen that DRM, here as in other areas is a true pain, giving honest people a lot of troubles.

The DRM thing will affect my usage of ebooks. I don't expect, that I will be able to read the DRM protected ebooks I buy, when I am 64. So I plan to buy books, I expect to use for a shorter period, like books on computing. I might buy a few novels, but I will hold back, since I fear I will loose that investment along the way. I look forward to reading a lot of the free stuff available.
