Yeah, I think the guy that had the 2,000 book limit may not have put the noscan file in the SD card.
I had to have help in learning how to make the "noscan" file and if you look in development thread, someone toward end of thread told me how to make it. Once made, it was simple and doesn't take ANY TIME to scan the card because it doesn't scan the card.
I have no problem going through folders and then books in folder, and it takes under 5 seconds to copy the book to internal memory , a lot less time than ordering the book from amazon.

And the book is still stored on sc card and so I'm free to delete from internal memory any time I want.
I guess I'm just giving a HEADS UP to those of you who have the 505 , you can now put 1,000's of books on your SD card and take it with you , and read it too (from internal memory)
