You can only deactivate the computer you are currently signed-on with so the computer you are using is named "Reader Library 3". Only Sony can deactivate your old computer name. (Did you by any chance get a new computer and not "deauthorize" your old one?)

I hope this helps, but it doesn't really explain why this happened.

I do have a netbook, but it's in Peru at this moment. I've never used it to transfer any files, although I do have the Sony software on it. I never authorized anything using that computer. In fact, I have never logged into the Sony software on that computer. -- It's just there to read some files; nothing more (at this time).

I'm afraid if I Deactivate that #3 [the computer], that something will get "stuck" in my actual computer that I'm using right now - my HP.

But what about an inability to transfer those LRX files onto my Sony 600?
