Hey everyone,
I thought I'd say hi. I've been reading kindle books on my iPod Touch for a few months and finally stopped agonizing over it and bought a K2 for myself for Christmas. It's really quite an extravagance for me seeing as how I don't read all THAT much but I have to say that I really like it. The unit is physically pretty nice but it's really the convenience of the Kindle book store that I like the most about it. I'm pretty sure I've done more reading in the week that I've had the Kindle than I have in the last six months of iPod and regular book reading. That alone has me just about convinced to keep it and not take advantage of the 30 day return policy. Heck, I have Christmas present video games that I haven't taken the plastic off of yet because I've been reading so much.
Looking around here I can plainly see that I've really only scratched the surface of the whole ebook thing. I had no idea there was so much going on with the hardware and the formats and such. Anyway, I'm off to poke around some more.
