I just finished "The Making of the Atomic Bomb". Fascinating book! This book, or a similar book, should be required reading at the high school level.

I believe they forced me to read "Hiroshima" which wasn't nearly as educational....as it loses much of the insight and intrigue in the making of The Bomb.
