I use Georgia 22 at 100%, with wide margins; it yields clean, dark serif text with good whitespace balance. Turning the bar off gains me an extra line. Better yet, it removes an eye distraction.
I have the Hide function mapped to one of the wings (contents is the other) so I can toggle it on and off if I really want to see it. But since I want maximum immersion I prefer it off. (It's just me and the text stream.) For the same reason, I prefer the 4-way rocker ring for paging; all it takes is a bit extra pressure from the thumb.
Best ergonomics of any reader I've owned since my Jornada 6xx days.
FBReader on Pocketbook needs some work on RTF and DOC parsing (it loses formatting mid-block in large stretches of italic, for one) and it has issues with TOCs and pics on mobi files but other than that SFF's version is a solid reading environment.
