But the information was correct - you can go to the Sony UK web site and download 125 free books. Unless the advert specifically said that the books were preloaded on the device, then you really don't have a leg to stand on.

Yes, the "Trades Descriptions Act" says the goods have to be as described, fit for purpose, etc, etc, but there does not appear to be any obvious breach of that here.
