I stopped by the Sony Style store in Las Vegas this afternoon. They had a demo in stock but no sales units. The Reader specialist was really bummed they don't have a delivery date since CES starts in Vegas next week.
When I mentioned the Best Buy price she immediately told me they would price match if the competitor has the item in stock. I told her that the Sony Style Web site was already price matching. They would not sell me a unit in advance of delivery. I wonder how many sales Sony has already lost.
BTW, my ex is a librarian and she sent me an email asking what I thought about the Kindle. I told her that Kindle is the most anti-library reader in production.
