Hey thanks all.
The formats aren't a big deal most of my books format are scattered between PDF/MOBI/LIT/ePUB so I'm use to converting.
The only thing I might miss is Sony's support for PDF... Some how I don't think the kindle will be as good.
I only had two bought two LRX books and now they are in ePUB format thanks to Sony's new direction
@kennyc Yeah I feel tainted but coming from a Sony device I consider it more of a lateral move
@daffy that is one thing I'm
going to miss, my biggest selling point on the 505 was the portability and the kindle is a little up big. But it has other features that make up for it. Since your interested I'll give my review after one week of using it.
@fug right now it is a bit too early to tell I like to use a device for a week to really get a fill for the device. However I do have a first impression. For starters it is much bigger making it not so portable, it is very sleek. One thing I noticed is the keyboard while I love that feature it was not designed well, I think they went for looks over functionality. The keys are to spread out and low causing the device to wobble while typing., so I'll have to condition myself.
I realy like the TTS compared to my PC it sounds much nicer.
What I find funny is while the kindle is bigger the Sony is heavier.
Right now it's to hard to tell which one I like better after a week of using the kindle I will have a better feel for the device
Again thanks for the warm welcome everyone
