Ostler99,

Although I don't necessarily agree with the tone of the message, I do agree with brecklundin. Any computer related device will most likely need to be depreciated (probably over 5 or 7 years - the same depreciation schedule for computers).

As a soon to be business owner, I am actively looking for a device to use in my small business. So $1000 IS A LOT to pay for a device. Considering that I just spent $600 for a new computer system with a 20" monitor, I cannot see myself spending $1000 for the "convenience" of taking briefs or caselaw to court in digital format when I can take a hard copy for less (in the short term).

Although I cannot speak to the worldwide impact of the pricing of the Que proReader, I can say that as a person ACTIVELY looking to purchase the Que, at a price of < $600, I will put in my order just as soon as allowed, at $600-$700, I will take a wait and see approach, and at >$700, I will simply have to dream of the time when the Que will drop in price or go on special because I cannot justify (in my own mind) paying more for a digital book reader than I did for office computer.

Just my opinion.
