Having used a Sony PDA (the 2000/2001 PJ20) as an ebook reader for the last ten years, I don't think I've been asked what it is more than a handful of times. Mind you, the size of 2.5*3.5 inches probably hides what I'm doing...
Just updated to another Sony - the 5" pocket - in bright pink, which might make it a little easier to spot!
