No, sandbox being there is my mistake. Though it doesn't harm.

My questions:
1) do you have /database/system/PRSPlus.js /database/system/PRSPlus-addons folder with corresponding files etc in internal memory?
2) If the answer to previous question is yes, what was the original firmware version, before you've started flashing?
If flahsing was successfull and JS files are where there should be (in internal memory), UI should change a bit, menu fonts become smaller (you can change it back via addon settings if you want). Fifth menu option must be "Browse Folders".
And you don't need to create /database/media/books on SD card. You don't even need them on IM (though that's where sony library copies books to) as this is a configurable options in "Browse Folders".
