I had given serious consideration to to getting the 800 as I like its size. Now that the Sony Daily Edition is real and the 800 is still vaporware, I'm giving up and getting the Sony.
If the IRex ends up getting rave reviews, I can always Ebay the Sony. At this point, though, a bird in the hand...........
