I doubt it.

But to be on the safe side, why not back up all your books to a computer (which is not a bad thing to do anyway). Just connect the Kindle to a PC or Mac with the USB cable, and copy the files from the Kindle's Documents folder to a suitable folder on your hard drive.

It's highly unlikely that changing your location will cause you to lose any books, but if you have a backup, at least you will be able to restore them if the worst happens (and without Amazon knowing).
