Then you're SOL. Look, torrenting masses of 'cracked' ebooks is going to up your chances of virii sneaking in, unless you want to D/L HTML versions and run them through either Calibre, Kindlegen or Mobipocket Creator.

And there's nothing ethically wrong with stripping the DRM from mobi ebooks you have purchased - although, no doubt many governments call that 'criminal behavior'.

But the best thing to do is agitate for Amazon to make Kindle versions. Many of the books listed there have the 'Would you like to see this in Kindle' button. (Or whatever the actual button text says.) Press that button for each title!
