MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - PRS-600 Reader software won't download

I'm running XP SP3, plenty of memory/disk space so compatibility shouldn't be a problem. Have turned off antivirus/firewall etc. The software download starts, runs for about 3 hours (what is this stuff made of - concrete!) then fails with an error message. Has this happened to anyone else? Have left a message with Sony support but, hey, it's a bank holiday so not hopeful of getting to use my ebook until the new year.
