I just don't see the connection between limited bandwidth and not having an expensive computer. There are still large numbers of places in the US that can't get broadband, at least not cable or DSL. Doesn't matter how much your computer costs, broadband just isn't available. Unless maybe you go to satellite, but that seems unsatisfactory from comments in a steaming audio forum I use (guitar players).
