Okay, since no one else volunteered: The joke is that these delectable treats are not "Twinkies"... they are another product from the same company, known as "HoHo"s.
(Each is cut in half to reveal the swirly inside, so you'd know which treat they were... otherwise, they just look like brown logs. As they are cut in half, each one constitutes one "Ho."

Since my wife is Ukranian, we have a traditional Ukranian Christmas dinner... which is meatless. Then, on Christmas morning, we go over to Mom's house and have a traditional American Christmas breakfast (pretty much whatever we can lay our hands on).
