Sorry about your trouble Android, it happens to any product from any manufacture. I must say that is why I am willing to pay more sometimes to buy a "high tech" item from a regular store than online. I bought my PRS-300 from a Best Buy about 25 miles away. I had two weeks to return it, no questions asked. Plus, if it broke I could go back and simply get another (within a reasonable time frame). I do most of my shopping online, but some things I go with the old fashioned way.
Again, sorry about your problems, and though you will not have it for Christmas, you just might have it to start the new year....
