Can you do what I do? No? Than why criticize me for it?

My man, you are the definition of a hater. But that's cool, because I'm the definition of a real motherf*****r (bleeped for the babies) and it's your job to hate on people like me and it's my job to continue to be real about what I do.

Yes, I feel quite proud, for several reasons. Mainly because I've overcome and continue to overcome artificial limitations on my library.
For the people who feel where I'm coming from, about needing choice and not letting things stand in the way of your goals, of pushing the edge, and those who love reading books, (which I do, and I do love my 505, that doesn't mean I can't push it to do more), I've noted my experiences and experiments and results. I will continue to do so.

The limitation on books is a result of bad programming, nothing that the 505 is physically incapable of doing. You can choose to accommodate your lifestyle to accept the limitations imposed upon you by others, but I am of quite a different ilk entire. You can post snide comments about people who have taken the time to analyze and experiment and write scripts and "waste their time instead of enjoying what the PRS-505 is designed for" as you put it, but I'm enjoying my 505 far more than you. I haven't had to connect it to a computer to transfer books for a long time. I can read whatever I want to. It's not my whole library, but it's substantial. I've crossed the Pacific 4 times and the Atlantic twice and had whatever I chose to read at my fingertips, which is as it should be. I am filled with pride at the thought that I overcame such lame firmware, I am proud that I didn't give up, that I "wasted my time" as you put it because to me, it wasn't a waste of time, it was and still is a worthy endeavor, one which I am not alone in trying to solve.

So, go lay down and accept whatever is given to you, and as I am sure every word of this will go over your head, all I can say is enjoy. Please continue the hate, because the fact that you feel the need to get your feelings of my "silliness" off your chest, just tells me I'm doing the right thing.
