While this does not mention ePub or DRM it does state what the books will work on. If anyone purchasing a book from B&N for their unsupported reader well that's their own fault by not doing enough research.

And if you take "eReader" to mean electronic reader, then it's even more unclear. I have a 505 that supports ADE/ePub. So if I didn't know, I might buy if the sample was ePub.
Face it, B&N is not telling the customers what they need to know. And they are mixing up the word eReader and causing no end of confusion.
