Ok, as far as nook not being better for epub -- you can read epubs bought at B&N and Sony Store on nook, while you can't read B&N epubs on sony readers (and that is a fact). nook is better for epub, Sony PRS readers are worse for epub, go post there.

JSWolf -- a huge amount of the posts in this thread are made by you and they're all about the same. B&N never told you they're selling epub on the product pages. B&N never told you they're selling product which is compatible with anything beyond what's freaking explicitly listed on every single product page. Yes, you can't read B&N-bought ebooks on other devices. Get over it.

PS. nook rules all.
