Art was in short supply. On the other hand, the engineering was spectacular.

Ten years from now no one will want to watch this movie simply because of the story, and the special effects will feel so outdated that it will make one cringe.

This is one of those times that continue to remind me that the medium is not the message. All that fancy-shmancy 3d stuff was slapped on top of a poor story. The medium was spectacular; the message was not.
