If Sony is a publicly traded company their corporate reports are on-line somewhere at their web-site (or one of their web-sites) and somewhere in a lengthy and boring report full of verbiage designed to put one to sleep before reaching the important details would be some sort discussion of the Reader and how sales are going and what projected sales would be. They don't discuss every device in such reports, but often corporations will discuss new items and show how well they're doing.
Am I going to go searching for such reports? No way.
But if someone is totally bored, or the boss is away and they want to play, the data is probably online somewhere.
