It's unfortunate they will miss the originally intended date. B&N is trying to make right -- they're under no obligation to provide $100 gift cards to folks -- but I've no doubt that won't be enough for some folks.

An interesting parallel between Christmas gift-giving and these delays: isn't it more about the sentiment and thought that counts?
