Can Kindle accounts share newspaper subscriptions too? I know you can register up to five devices per account and share books, but if they both wind up with Kindles and he gets the newspaper, will it go into her Kindle too?

They cannot share a subscription but if you're willing to set up a subscription for them with Calibre, they can have a better paper with pictures than the kindle version (each can have it customized to their reading tastes).
The cost will much less as well, 15 cents per 1 MB x 2 (for each of them) per day which is $4.50 each ($9 for both) as opposed to $10+ per month for only
one subscription. Calibre can be set up to download and email to each of their Kindles everyday.
