I love my Sony 505. I have no need for a multipurpose ebook reader (I don't even use the mp3 function on mine), but I would like to eventually buy a second reader with a larger screen and a wacom touch screen (or any sort of touch screen that I can mark-up and does not affect the quality of the screen), as I translate a lot of texts which I would like to be able to write notes on; a keyboard would be of no use, as I don't exclusively latin-based letters. I would also like to be able to mark-up journal articles and such; I can read journal articles just fine on my 6 inch screen, but I think that I would need at least an 8 inch screen to have enough room for notes. As it is, I write my notes in a notebook that I keep in my purse along with my reader. I would like to see Sony or Amazon come up with a larger screen with a stylus, as I can see that the DR1000 has had some mixed reviews and is very pricey. The 9.7 inch screen that pocketbook has announced looks appealing, however I think I will wait until there are a few larger screened devices out there until I pick one up. If only the upcoming Sony 900 were a little larger...
