So glad you got over to Paris OK Patricia! I saw about the broken down trains, and then saw signs all the way over to the father-in-laws about the chunnel being closed (which led to a few conspiracy theories being advanced when we got there as to whether the trains actually had really broken down or been sabotaged, in light of the strike being called off...)
Weather here has been clear, sunny and chilly - temperature (according to the car) peaked at +2c, and the lowest was -4c
