Sparrow, I urge you to stick it out. Very good ending. Also, if, by the end, you do like it, I'd recommend you try some of Connelly's earlier novels (e.g.,
The Concrete Blond)
Also, if you're into detective novels, have you read any Robert Crais? I've thoroughly enjoyed him over the years.
