Same reason I read Sam Harris and The End of Reason: A Muslim's Critical Response by Bill Whitehouse after reading The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason by Sam Harris. The rebuttal by Whitehouse was weak and often off-target. (Example: at one point, Mr. Whitehouse launched into a multi-page 9-11 conspiracy theory rant. Why?)
