My apologies if I have offended you - you seem very angry.
I will try to answer your questions.
First, the sky here is blue.
Second, apologies for being naive. Of course, I said nothing about any immediate returns. I simply make point that $1000 is not a lot for a business to pay. Most of the reviews of the DR state that it is designed for the business end of the market, not the casual reader.
Third, I run a successful small business. My DR is tax deductible because it will be used in my business.
Finally, I know that different countries are different.
Finally, let me add another comment. In my view, the replacement of paper by technology is good for the environment.
The DR is plainly directed at pdfs which is good because it takes a small step towards paperless offices.
