I'm interested in this as my brother wished for a copy for his birthday last year and I remember it was difficult to find. Never thought of reading it myself, but perhaps I should You make it sound intersting.
I've been thinking about reading something of Orhan Pamuk - still I wonder if I should start right now. It's a dark time of year here, and I worry a bit about reading things that drags one down - it makes me feel depressed. What I have read about Pamuk worries me a bit, it sounds very serious - do you think I should wait for Spring? What would you suggest to start with?

My Name is Red is my suggestion for Orhan Pamuk, it's a fantastic book.
