GwynEvans Method worked great for me...
I did update the eBookUpdater\assets\updaterAssets\PRSVersion.dat file -
just open with notepad to edit and change the version number for a higher one like 110125201, this way it will think you are "upgrading " to a higher version. then run the updater as normal. version will be1.1.00.18040. That is not downgrading since the number only shows a different country not an older version. good luck.
